1975: Started to ride Japanese bikes

I had gone to Japan in 1973 to ride and race. When I returned I started riding Japanese bikes like Honda and Suzuki. THis picture is from Valley Cycle Park in 1975. I’m riding the first Japanese bike that I had heavily modified on my own: ’75 SUZUKI TM125.

  1. Hi Ross, I love old motocross bikes. Do you have this bike now? Ciao

    • flavio:
No, I never saved any of my old bikes…..I either had to give them back or sell them to buy a new one!

    Classic Ross riding style….

I thought the 1975 125 Suzuki was the first year of the RM model – – the one with the down pipe. Did Suzuki make a TM 125 model in ’75 too? I had the 1976 RM 125, the Gaston Rahier replica with the up-pipe

    • Jim: I think you are correct. My TM125 must have been a 1974. ’75 was the first year of RM models and the 125 had a down pipe. The following year in ’76 was the first year of the up pipe, but in line front forks…

  4. you even rocked the 8 in the old days

  5. naturally like your website but you need to test the spelling on several of your posts.
Several of them are rife with spelling issues and I to find it
very troublesome to inform the truth on the other hand I will definitely
    come again again.
